It's hard to believe that this is the 14th consecutive year that Lane Quigley and Bill Green have collaborated for their annual East/West Showdown, but that's a fact!! And this year's show contains some great match-ups for your consideration. If you're new to Rock-it Radio, here is the lowdown on the Showdown. The program contains 12 rounds of friendly competition -- each round features an East Coast tune selected by Bill and a West Coast record chosen by Lane. The music for each round has some common thread. Some of the links are obvious, some are not, but the guys explain the connections during the program. The show also features lots of sound bites from the performers telling us about their music.
As you listen, keep track Round-by-Round of which song you prefer in each of the 12 match-ups. You are welcome to copy-and-paste the following playlist and use it for your ballot. Then, send an e-mail with your Round-by-Round selections to: vote@rockitradio.net .
