AL 'COOL DADDY' SMITH WITH A 'DOO WOP' SPOTLIGHT
ON THE PARAGONS IN SHOW #4267

This show is a tribute to the New York Doo Wop group 'The Paragons'
They evolved from a typical  mid fifties New York street corner harmony
group into an accomplished, smoothly functioning vocal unit by the
early sixties. They are best known for their vocal pyrotechnics
on tunes such as 'Florence' and 'Danny Boy' both of which are
featured on this show.
They had no national hits but certainly deserved to have some.
Some of their best work was done on the Winley label and many of
those tunes are featured as well. The play list is as follows:

1. Blue Velvet-The Paragons  1960
2. Wedding Bells-The Paragons  1960
3. If-The Paragons  1961
4. Hey Baby-The Paragons  1961
5. Florence-The Paragons  1957
6. Hey Little School Girl -The Paragons  1957
7. Let's Start All Over-The Paragons  1957
8. Two Hearts Are Better Than One-The Paragons  1957
9. Give Me Love-The Paragons  1957
10. Doll Baby-the Paragons    1959
11. Darling I Love You- Tommy Collins and The Paragons  1959
12. Kneel and Pray-The Paragons  1959
13. Just a Memory-The Paragons  1959
14. Florence Don't Leave-The Paragons  1959
15. Don't Cry Baby-The Paragons  1960
16. So You Will Know-The Paragons  1960
17. Thinking of You-The Paragons  1960
18. Begin The Beguine-The Paragons   1961
19. In The Midst Of The Night-The Paragons  1961
20. Time After Time-The Paragons  1963
21. Danny Boy-The Paragons  1964
22. Diamonds and Pearls-The Paragons  1960's????...
even the Paragons aren't sure!!!!
23. If  You Leave me-The Paragons  1961

Thank you Al for a fantastic show of a Doo Wop Group that surely
deserved a lot more success that they did!  Some great Doo wop
here!  If you have any comments or ideas for future shows you

SAVE MONEY ON PRINTER INK THROUGH ROCK-IT
RADIO!

One of the biggest office expenses here at Rock-it Radio is

printer ink.  Everytime we would go to Staples or Office Mart
we would pay $50 to $100 on printer ink.  We have been able
to cut that cost in half with mailorder through 123 inkjet.  We
liked the savings so much we have endorsed and became a
affiliate of this service.  So, cut your printer ink costs in half
and help Rock-it Radio at the same time, by ordering through
123 Inkjets on our webpage.  The link is at the bottom of our
main webpage at: http://www.rockitradio.net

I hope you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was with the
savings of printer ink!

Or go direct to check out the printer ink savings at:
