AL 'COOL DADDY' SMITH WITH A 'DOO WOP' SPOTLIGHT
ON THE RAMA RECORD LABEL #4278

This show is the first of four shows examining some of the record
labels founded by George Goldner.  This first show will feature recordings
from the Rama label founded by George in 1951.
While focusing on Rhythm and Blues ,Rama also dabbled with Rockabilly
and Pop. In subsequent shows the labels Gee, Gone and End will be featured
as well.  As stated above all of the these labels were founded by another
ignored pioneer of Rock and Roll, George Goldner.
 He certainly belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but has not
made it yet.
It is only a matter of time.
