TONY WARNER & THE TIMELESS TRACKS SHOW ON
ROCK-IT RADIO SHOW #4406

Tony Warner & Timeless Tracks blends a mix of R&B, Doo-Wop,
Rockabilly and Teen Pop from the late 50's and early 60s as you
would've heard it on the radio back then. From the mid-50's until the
mid-60's, Arkansas native Buddy Deane hosted a tremendously
popular daily TV teen dance show in Baltimore called the Buddy Deane
Show. Before that he was a successful radio D.J. It was Buddy's
show which influenced John Waters (of Baltimore) to write Hairspray!
Buddy helped give a start to many rock-n-roll singer's careers. In other
cases he helped further careers through their exposure on his show.
Buddy was a gracious gentleman who has never been forgotten by an
entire generation in Maryland. In this show,Tony presents an interview
he did with Buddy about how he gave a future rock-n-roll icon his
big break in 1953 at a Sunday afternoon dance in Baltimore.
From the Hits to the Forgotten to the Unknown, Tony plays it all in every show.
Here's the playlist for this edition of Timeless Tracks with Tony Warner:

1. Sugar Sugar Cadillacs

3. Sunday & Me Jay & The Americans
4. A Date with Loneliness Sandy Selsie

SAVE THE HOLIDAY SHOPPING HASSLE THRU AMAZON
DOT COM!  AND SUPPORT ROCK-IT RADIO AT SAME TIME.

We have a new link on our main webpage at www.rockitradio.net
towards the middle of the page -  a large brown Amazon rectangle.
When you click and shop here - you don't pay anymore then the
usual Amazon.com site but it does give a small amount to Rock-it

there office supplies from Amazon.  As we generally find probably
a 20% discount from Staples, Office Max and Office Depot.

Also, the electronics, music and everything under the sun they
offer.
ROCK-IT RADIO LAUNCHING PAD PLEA FROM ROCK-IT
RADIO.

Rock-it Radio is publicly supported and we rely on purchases from
our Launching Pad for us to pay our bills from copyright to bandwidth.
In October we had our 2nd  worse month in sales and
have run in the red with losses the last two months and November
has gotten to a slow start as well.
So many things are happening in the world from Hurricane Sandy
victims to a difficult economy and so much more, I feel guilty in
mentioning this.
But if you have enjoyed Rock-it Radio this past year would you
please consider helping us exist?  We don't ask something for
nothing.  Every donation from the Rock-it Radio Launching pad
you will receive a vintage Rock and Roll broadcast of your choice
from the 50s thru the 70s and we have 100s to choose from.
I know many of you save our shows on mp3 and we allow that
and glad that you can do that.   But we kindly ask for your support
as well.  These vintage shows also make great Holiday gifts to the
oldies lovers in your family.  Here are the links that help Rock-it
Radio.

she is able to make today.  She also has a line of whimsical old fruit

SAVE MONEY ON PRINTER INK THROUGH ROCK-IT
RADIO!

One of the biggest office expenses here at Rock-it Radio is

printer ink.  Everytime we would go to Staples or Office Mart
we would pay $50 to $100 on printer ink.  We have been able
to cut that cost in half with mailorder through 123 inkjet.  We
liked the savings so much we have endorsed and became a
affiliate of this service.  So, cut your printer ink costs in half
and help Rock-it Radio at the same time, by ordering through
123 Inkjets on our webpage.  The link is at the bottom of our
main webpage at: http://www.rockitradio.net

I hope you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was with the
savings of printer ink!

Or go direct to check out the printer ink savings at:

Rock-it Radio Program Webpage Reminder
Remember, if the show that you want to hear is getting close to the bottom of the list of radio shows, you should tune in as soon as you can. These shows to have a high audio quality require a lot of internet bandwidth and memory. And currently we can only afford the 25 latest shows online here at Rock-it Radio.  So, when a new show is put online it knocks the oldest one off the Rock-it Radio archives page.  Usually a show will at least last 16 to 20 days, once it is placed in the archives.
